ARMONK KITCHEN OVERHAUL

This outdated country kitchen was begging to be replaced. My clients imagined a practical workspace that combined modern Scandinavian style with the country feel of their 100 year old house.

We began by removing the wall between the existing kitchen and dining room. The space instantly felt lighter and more user friendly. We combined fresh white cabinetry with a greige island, white quartz countertops, open shelving and a white marble wall. The opening to the dining room was framed in barnwood. This design element connected to the barnwood beams in the adjacent family room and the original stone wall in the entry foyer.

White walls and white Mid-century sculptural barstools keep the space bright.

Bon Appetit.
